A Comprehensive Guide To Affiliate Marketing Success, Part 4
Writing Articles To Promote Your Affiliate Links
Affiliate marketing and article marketing share the same initials. This is quite symbolic, considering the fact that article marketing is the most potent way to market your affiliate links.
Article marketing, as many hail, is the most significant internet marketing strategy discovered in the past decade. Its rewards are immeasurable, its reach is deep, and its execution is easy. You won’t have to be a great writer (though it will help) and you won’t have to spend a ridiculous amount of cash, if at all, to make the most out of this technique.
Every successful internet marketer is into article marketing, and for the best of reasons at that.
As an affiliate marketer, there is no reason – no reason at all – why you shouldn’t include article marketing in your repertoire of online advertising tactics.
What Is Article Marketing, Exactly?
Article marketing refers to the strategy of writing and submitting unique, highly informative articles to the many, many article directories in the World Wide Web. Remember, I said “unique” and “highly informative,” two characteristics that can make or break your article marketing campaign.
You need “unique” articles because you will want your submissions to generate as much interest as possible. If your article can be found somewhere else from way back, or worse, is a cheap rip off of an existing article, then there is no reason why your readers will waste time to read the same.
You need “highly informative” articles because information is what fuels the internet. People are in constant search for information, and if your article has what they need, they will try to find it.
For every article you will submit, you will be allowed a resource box. In your resource box, you can include a short biography as well as a URL you wish to promote. This URL can be your main website hosting your affiliate links, as is what is ideal, or a particular affiliate link.
The Beauty Of Article Marketing
Article marketing works in so many levels that will help your affiliate marketing campaigns immensely.
For starters, article marketing will quickly brand you as an expert in your field. Write a lot of informative articles and people will start viewing you as a master in your trade. Naturally, they’d start to believe everything that will come from you, including your recommendations for the affiliate merchant’s products.
Also, article marketing is great to build your website’s link popularity. Since your URL will appear with every article you submit in every article directory you submit to, you can build the number of links pointing to your website really fast. The number of one way links your website has, the higher its page rank will be. The higher the page rank, the higher the position in search engine results for every relevant query.
Article marketing is likewise very viral. A lot of eZine editors are looking for articles to publish. You give such a license once you submit your articles to the article directories, provided that your resource box will be kept intact.
Where To Start?
You can begin with this tactic by writing your own articles, or hiring someone to write an article for you, and submitting the same to as many article directories as you can.
You can get a freelance writer from websites like www.rentacoder.com , www.elance.com or www.getafreelancer.com . Expect to pay $5 to $15 per article though.
You can submit your article to article directories like www.ezinearticles.com , www.goarticles.com and www.isnare.com . Seeing that there are thousands and thousands of article directories out there, you may want to consider services that will submit your articles for you.

How To Publish Your Own Ebook, Part 4
Outsourcing The Writing Process
When it comes to the challenge of writing an eBook, you are given two options: whether to write the eBook yourself; or whether to hire someone to write the same for you.
If you are possessed with great writing skills and if you have the time for such an undertaking, then by all means, write the eBook yourself. This is the ideal scenario. After all, this is the case where you will have full control over how the finished product will appear.
But if you don’t have the flair for writing, or if you don’t have the time for such a job, then it will be best to hire someone to do the writing for you. This is called outsourcing, and it is a fast growing industry within the internet marketing industry.
Outsourcing refers to the contracting of outside help to fulfill some functions of your business. Such service is provided by what we call as freelancers. A freelancer who will do the writing chores for you is called a ghostwriter. He is tagged as such because he will be like a ghost who writes… confidentiality is guaranteed and all the rights – ALL THE RIGHTS – to the finished product shall accrue to you. This means that you can claim to be the author of the work, and for all intents and purposes, such statement should be held as true.
Finding A Ghostwriter
The best places where you can find great ghostwriters are through the established outsourcing websites like www.rentacoder.com , www.elance.com and www.getafreelancer.com .
Be forewarned, however, that finding a suitable ghostwriter is a process of train and error. Often, you will have to try out different freelancers to get the one perfect for your expectations. This is a process that every online business that resorts to outsourcing, unfortunately, has to go through.
It is important that, once you find the ghostwriter best suited for the job, that you keep him. Contact him outside the confines of the outsourcing websites. Hire him on a regular basis if needed. He will save you a lot of time (and money) because you already know what he’s capable of.
Instructions Make Or Break Outsourcing
The downside of outsourcing is that you cannot monitor the progress of the work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Basically, once you have assigned the project to a ghostwriter, it’s going to be a gamble most of the time. Will he submit excellent work? Or will he deliver a sub par product? Only time will tell.
Hence, we arrive at the most important component of the outsourcing process: your instructions.
The freelancer will accomplish the tasks assigned based on the specifications you have given. If your specifications are clear, unambiguous and unequivocal, there is no reason why the freelancer won’t be able to deliver a product that is in accordance with what you have in mind.
It is very, very important that you take some time to lay out simple, clear and easy to understand instructions for the freelancer to follow. Better yet, always remind him or her that the communication lines are open, and if he or she has questions about the project, he or she should contact you as soon as possible.
Agreements Are Your Guarantees
Most online businessmen use written agreements to ensure that their rights are protected. You may want to pursue this route as well. Agreements of this nature often include the following:
* Indemnification for the principal in case of fraud committed by the freelancer during the preparation of the deliverables.
* Confidentiality of the transaction.
* Most importantly, that ALL rights over the end product/s shall be transferred to the principal upon delivery or upon completion of the transaction.

How To Start Your Own Online Business, Part 1
The Basics Of Online Marketing
There are many advantages to starting your own online business. The prospect of working from the comforts of your own home alone is enough for many people to seriously consider this amazing alternative. Additionally – and more importantly for some – the earning potentials of an online business are unsurpassed. You can earn thousands, if not millions, of dollars, with the right products, the right setup, the right techniques and the right attitude.
But a good number of people are still hesitant to try out this lucrative field. One of the reasons is fear. Long has the internet been known as a place that breeds scams and other fraudulent activities. One look at your bulk folder and you’ll see countless offers for penis enlargement (which is medically impossible), get rich quick schemes (which is logically improbable) and requests for donations (which is morally improper).
But the main reason why people don’t want to engage in an online business is because of education, or lack thereof. A great number of people simply do not know how to start their own online business. “I don’t know HTML” or “I cannot create a website” are the usual excuses given by persons who’d otherwise hop aboard this very profitable opportunity.
Unfounded Fears
Though it is true that the internet is a place filled with scams and the likes, what with the anonymity prevalent in the World Wide Web, such fears are not really proper. Firstly, because you will not scam anyone. Yours will be an enterprise that will be founded on credible and reputable undertakings. Secondly, because you can easily avoid people who have devious intents against your business if you know how to spot them.
And even if you don’t know jack about the skills and knowledge required in operating your own online business, you can always learn about them. Such is the beauty of this industry. The learning curve isn’t the steep. And it is easily accessible to just about anyone.
First Thing You Need To Learn
Before you can start earning money online, you must first realize the basic rule of business – any business for that matter, whether offline or online.
To earn something, you must give something first.
If you want to earn through sales, you must first offer something to sell. If you want to earn through your skills, you must be good at something so that someone will be willing to hire you.
An online business is not a gambit. You cannot win something with nothing. You must first give something to earn a profit in return. This is something you must always remember. You will be running a business, not a charity institution. You cannot expect people to donate money to you out of the goodness of their hearts.
The Right Attitude
Approaching your online business with pessimism will lead to nowhere. If you start believing it can’t be done, you’ll never be able to do it.
But hear these facts: a number greater than the majority make it big in the online world. These people are by no means pioneers. They have studied and adopted certain online business models. They improved on them every chance they got.
As such, they have received phenomenal results that have made online marketing their bread and butter for their daily sustenance.
Yes, it can be done. You can earn a living online, just like how thousands of people are currently accomplishing each and every day!
We’ll show you what you need to know. We’ll tell you the right tools to use. We’ll teach you the correct strategies to implement.
But you need to do something with the things you will learn. The success of your online enterprise will be solely dependent on you.
