I hope all is well with you and your business.
Doesn't time fly. Years half gone already.
Just completed editing my latest publication. Two other ebooks
to be done so that I can set up sales pages to sell the three
as a package. However, just for being such a loyal subscriber
you can download the latest creation completely free of charge.
The ebook "In your Face Internet Marketing Words of Wisdom"
ebooks-to-succeed.com/inyourface.zip
Ebook is in PDF format so that everybody can read it.
Article #2 talks about website content. I've been spending
most of my time recently adding new content to websites. More
often than not within a fairly short period of time I see the
Alexa ranking improve. Just proves the point that adding
regular fresh content makes a difference.
I like to keep a record of my website standings month to month
as a way of monitoring my progress.
O.K. I had better push on - my "to do" list is growing far
to quickly.
To your Home Business Success,

HOW TO WRITE ADS THAT PULL IN SALES
by Charlie Cook
www.marketingforsuccess.com
Have you ever spent $500 or more on an ad and gotten a similarly
limited response? Have you ever felt discouraged about your
advertising campaign and the lack of results?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, you're not
alone. Everyone who has ever advertised has run an ad that
failed at least once. Doing it once is educational; running an
ad that isn't working a second time is throwing good mo.ney
after bad.
If you run an ad and get hardly any responses, running it again
and again isn't going to make it work any better.
It's like trying to pedal a bicycle with a flat tire. You get on
the bike and it takes great effort to go a short distance. Is
pedaling harder and harder the solution? Of course not.
If your bike had a flat you'd change the tire and get moving. If
your ads aren't working, rethink and rewrite them and you'll
start attracting more clients.
Are you still guessing at what ad copy and layout gets the best
response?
I had one client who was struggling to attract new clients with
his ads. Each week he was spending mon.ey advertising his
property management business in three local papers and getting
zero response.
His ad was all about his company instead of about his prospects'
problems. I showed him how to rewrite his ad focusing on his
prospects' biggest concerns. He started running the new ad and
within the first three weeks he added nine new clients worth
close to two hundred thousand dollars. He's still running the ad
and his phone is still ringing off the hook.
Are you writing your own ads or supervising the person who is?
Not sure how to get your prospects' attention?
You may be an expert in your business and provide the highest
quality services, but knowing which words will grab your
prospects and get them to contact you can be be puzzling.
Frankly, even the professionals in advertising don't know for
sure.
Fortunately the Internet gives advertisers a unique advantage.
You can try out different ads and different wording in your ads
and test the market response at a very low cost. Google's
Adwords makes this possible.
When I initially told one client, Bob about trying Google
Adwords' pay-per-click advertising, he was apprehensive. His
concern was that it would cost too much, that was until he
understood the math.
Bob was paying $500 a month for advertising that was attracting
21 to 40 prospects. With pay-per-click advertising, you pay only
when a prospect clicks through to your site. If you set the
maximum you'll pay-per-click at
25 cents, for each $500 you spend, you'll get 2,000 prospects.
Not convinced?
One of the biggest benefits of using Google Adwords is that you
can test a handful of ads. Whether you want to test an ad you
plan to run in print or you want to find out which book title
will pull the best, you can use Google Adwords to show you what
your prospects respond to. Within a week and for a cost of $100
or less you can discover which keywords your target market
searches for the most frequently and which ad headline gets the
best response.
The first step is to setup a Google Adwords ad account and
create an ad. After at least 25 people have clicked on your ad,
you'll have a good idea of how well it is working and how it
compares to your other ads. It's like having your own market
research firm working for you and costs hundreds instead of tens
of thousands of dollars.
Wishing, hoping and guessing have no place in your marketing.
Don't keep running ads that aren't generating leads. Stop
guessing at which ads your prospects will respond to. Write
client-focused ads and test them. You'll end up with advertising
that works and your phone will be ringing off the hook with new
business too.
Ready to start earning 2 to 10 times as much with your web site?
You can when you know what information to give your prospects to
grab their attention and convince them to buy.

Three Reasons Why More Website Content Increases Traffic
People typically visit the internet in search of information. They are looking for content that is relevant to their purpose. They typically are not looking for marketing ploys. There are a number of ways to increase this content, including having a search engine optimization company provide you with keyword rich articles, but there are three major reasons why more website content increases your website traffic.
The first reason more website content increases traffic is that content articles tend to be focused on a topic. This focus will then lead to the repeated use of a keyword or phrase. That repeated use leads to higher search engine rankings. Search engine rankings are the way returns come back to an internet user through a search engine. If someone searches for the term “dogs” they will come back with thousands of pages of results. The order those results are displayed on the screen depends on a number of factors including how frequently the term is mentioned on the site and where it is mentioned on the site.
Research shows that people tend only to click on the first ten results a search engine offers them. Increasing your website content will help you become one of those first ten websites. This means more people than you ever thought possible will be clicking on your site in no time simply based on your website ranking. Not only will you be closer to the top of the search engine with more content, you may also be indexed by more search engines. This could mean something like ninety percent of all internet users seeing your website in any one given internet session.
The second reason more website content increases traffic is a bit more complicated. If you have strong, well written content on your site, you increase your credibility with customers. Suddenly you are no longer a company selling homemade dog food; you are somebody who can offer knowledgeable advice about anything a responsible dog owner needs to know including house training, leash laws, and sleeping problems. This increase in credibility not only makes people believe what you have posted to your site, it also makes them want to stay at your site to read the rest of your content articles. The more content articles you have at your site, the longer they will stay. Keeping them there as long as possible is the key to selling your product to them. You have a much longer time frame in which to pitch your product and close the sale.
Not only will they stay at your site longer with more content, but this also means they may come back to your site the next time they log onto their machine. For example, if you are selling refilled printer ink cartridges, but you have content on your site related to all things printers, you have a good chance that someone might stay to look at a few of the articles. However, the next time they need digital photo printing tips, chances are good that they will remember what great content you offered them during their last internet session, and they will return directly to your site just to read more of your content. This means you have their complete, undivided attention for an even longer period of time. Moreover, if they are returning to your site on some sort of regular basis, chances are good that they will recommend the site to other users like friends and relatives which will mean even more traffic for your site.
The final way more website content increases your web traffic is that it increases the likelihood that advertisers and reciprocal link exchangers will be attracted to your site. Reciprocal links are exchanged by websites that have similar interests. The more relevant topics you are able to list, the more chances you have of someone with similar interests attempting to link to your site. This could greatly increase your website traffic because not only will people be able to find your site through search engines, they may also be able to find your site through other sites. Further, though, advertisers are looking for sites that encourage customers they want to do business with. More keywords will mean more customers for you which can mean more advertisers for you which can mean more profits and visibility for you.
No matter which reason you choose, more content will increase your website traffic. That can only mean good things in store for you and your website. You can have your content articles written for you or write them yourself. Whichever way you go, though, be sure they are well-written, as poorly written articles will do nothing to increase your website traffic.

Is Building a Home Business a Sprint or Marathon?
By Wendi Stark
Recently on a weekly training call with one of my mentors, he
brought up a great question. He asked, "Is building a successful
home business a sprint or marathon"? Everyone stopped and
you would hear our wheels turning. Then he said, "A sprint is
over very quickly but a marathon takes more planning and
happens over a longer period of time".
The Sprint.....
You find the "perfect" home business. You sign up and someone
yells, "GO"! You blast out of the starting gates. After taking a
look at your new web site. You send an email to everyone you
know telling them about your new home business, including how
easy it is going to be for you to make money and you also tell
them everything about your products and how great they are.
You join the message forums/boards and the other web sites
that your sponsor tells you to join. You listen to the company
training calls. You do some advertising. You are happy when you
see that a few people have visited your site and a couple have
even ordered something. You say ok now I can relax since my
business is off and going. Then the traffic stops and so do your
sells. What happened????
The Marathon.....
You find the a home business that interests you. You send an
email or call the person that is offering the opportunity. You
ask questions to make sure that this new partnership is going
to be the right fit and also to make sure that they are as
interested in your success as you are. You sign up and someone
yells, "GO". You look over your new web site making sure you
understand the companies policies and procedures. You sit
down and right out what it is that you are going to accomplish
with your new home business. What are your goals? How much
$$$$ do you want to make? How much time will you devote to
your business each week? What daily actions will you take to
reach your goals? You share this information with your sponsor
so that the two of you can work on this together. You send out
an email to family and friends letting them know about the
Grand Opening of your new home business and you provide them
with your web site address, that is all the information you give
them. (You are not trying to sale them anything right now.)
You join the message boards/forums and other web sites that
your sponsor suggests you join. You make sure you are on all
the company training calls. You do some advertising. You
continue to talk to others and research what are the best ways
to drive traffic to your web site and how to get people
interested in your opportunity. You also work on self
improvement by listening to tapes and reading books. You are
very excited when your see the traffic that has been to your
web site and you have several sells. You continue to do the
things you have been doing and also continue to research new
ways of growing your business. You start teaching your new
team to do the samethings you have been doing and your share
the new things you learn with them. Every day you see your
business grow.....
So I ask you, based on the information above what is the best
way to build a successful home business?
