I trust all is well with you. I'm having a great time! My new
laptop with Vista Business and my old Desktop are presenting
some interesting issues. Mainly I'm having trouble getting the
data transferred between machines - I got a USB Flash Drive
thingy but there is a missing DLL file which I haven't managed
to sort out. Time to ring my Techy. Also the software I use on
the Desktop has not been upgraded to run on Vista so I've been
looking for new options. The widescreen on the Laptop also
revealed that a lot of my webpages need work to make them
look more appealing and presentable - so I guess I have things
to keep me real busy over the coming weeks/months.
I have added a new ebook to the Oneworldbiz site:
"10 Ways to Live a Healthy Lifestyle" that is available to
promote as an ClickBank affiliate. Head on over to
Oneworldbiz.net/Affiliates/ to check it
out as well as the other ebooks available for you to earn
60% commission on your sales.
To your online success,
Bryan

A Comprehensive Guide To Affiliate Marketing Success, Part 6
The Art Of Pre-Selling
Many people are quite confused with the term “pre-selling.” They keep questioning the statement “affiliate marketing will only require that you pre-sell the product instead of selling the same.” For them, pre-selling does seem similar to actual selling. You’d still have to come in contact with your prospects after all. You’d still have to present them your offer. You’d still have to convince them to make a purchase.
But pre-selling is very much different than actual selling because of a variety of reasons:
* You won’t have to prepare the products.
* You won’t have to deliver the same.
* You won’t have to accept and process payments.
* You won’t have to provide for post-sales support.
* You won’t have to take care of refund requests.
Pre-selling, as we can clearly see, is so much easier than actual selling. All you have to do is to pick a product to promote and stick with the basics.
Know The Product
Any salesperson will tell you that it is a MUST that one knows what he is selling, or what he is pre-selling for that matter. Otherwise, any attempt to promote the same will only appear as insincere. And sincerity is a key ingredient in persuading your prospects to make a purchase. Without this, even the hottest selling products will be difficult to sell.
You have to know the product by heart… every spec, every benefit, even every weakness. You cannot convince others to believe in the product if you yourself do not believe in the same.
“But I just picked this product because of the high commission rate.”
This is the problem encountered by most affiliates. We must get out of the “commission above all else” mentality and look at the overall picture. How would we feel if someone would sell, or pre-sell, an inferior product to us? We wouldn’t want to be such a person, right?
Pushing Their Emotional Triggers
Well established is the fact that people buy based on emotions and justify their purchases with logic later on. Someone would buy a sugar-free oatmeal cereal because he’s afraid to develop diabetes, for example, and later on justify that it’s for health reasons.
In order to pre-sell successfully, you need to push your prospects’ emotional triggers. There are 5 main emotional triggers you can capitalize on:
* Fear. There is no greater motivation than fear.
* Wealth. Earning more always generates a lot of interest.
* Health. Health is our number one investment, and it is that which a lot of people value the most.
* Vanity. Who wouldn’t want to look better, right?
* Fame. People want to be accepted.
There are a variety of ways by which you can push these triggers. And the emotional triggers applicable will depend on the nature of the product you are tasked to pre-sell, of course.
The Value Of Over-Delivering
Since you will be competing with hundreds, if not thousands, of other affiliates, you will have to discover your own unique selling proposition, or USP. This is quite easy for the creative mind.
One form of USP that you should always consider, however, is over-delivering. Though it is true that the affiliate merchant is in charge of producing and delivering the actual products, such shouldn’t bar you from giving something extra for the people who have trusted your words. This manner of over-delivering comes in many forms. The important thing to note is that you should always aim to give them more than what they paid for.
In the long run, over-delivering will work wonders for your future affiliate marketing campaigns, as one customer can always be a customer over and over again.

How To Publish Your Own Ebook,
Jazzing Up Your Ebook
So you have the words in place. The information is conveyed in content that is unique, well-written and easy to understand. The work is finished, you start to think. Your eBook is ready to be published.
Not quite yet.
You can still implement some methods that will make your eBook more visually captivating and the information a lot easier to digest. These methods are fun to employ since they will require a certain degree of creative input on your part. It’s the tail end of the production process. You’re almost ready to market your eBook! You just have to jazz it up a little.
Using Graphs, Charts And Tables
There are times when you will have to include graphs, charts and tables on your content pages. With MS Word as your word processor, this can easily be accomplished. For tables, you can use the built-in table maker that comes with the program. For charts and graphs, you can prepare them separately using an image editing software program, save the same as .jpg , .gif or .png files, and attach them to corresponding areas on your eBook’s pages.
How, exactly can you do this?
Do use the feature “insert text box” on MS Word. Once you have set the size of the text box, use the feature “insert picture.” This will automatically adjust the size of the image file to fit the size of the text box.
Your content pages can easily be edited using this procedure.
All About Ecovers
We have always been taught to never judge a book by its cover, but this rule is seldom followed. Often, covers sell copies. Just go to a bookstore – any bookstore. Which books on the shelves will catch your attention? Naturally, those with classy, fancy covers have better chances of catching your interest.
The same goes for eBooks.
Ecovers sell. So you must exert some effort to come up with the best eCovers possible to represent what is inside your eBook. Ecovers are best prepared by professional graphic artists. If you’re going to hire a freelancer, expect to pay $50 to as much as $300 per set of eCover images.
If you have excellent graphic manipulation skills however, all you need is an eCover program that will stamp the images you will make on 3-dimensional representations of virtual books. There are a lot of these programs available, and they come at reasonable prices. They are excellent investments for those who wish to build a library of eBooks in the future.
Additional Sources Of Income
Since an eBook is recommendatory by nature, you can enroll in related affiliate programs. Thereafter, you can subtly promote the affiliate products in the pages of your eBook. You can even hyperlink your affiliate links on such recommendations or on relevant keywords.
This will give you a number of income streams. Ethically, there is nothing wrong with this strategy as long as you do it with reserved moderation. Surely, you wouldn’t want a hundred affiliate links populating each and every page, right? Personally, I set a limit of not more than 15 affiliate links per 30 pages of content for eBooks that will be sold. If the eBook will be distributed for free as, say, the main seed of a viral marketing campaign, then such a limit is disregarded.
Affiliate links aren’t the only income streams you can integrate, however. Ebooks are also great for back selling as they are with cross selling. If you have other products, do link to their sales pages in your eBook. The same rules apply, the same limits as well.

How To Start Your Own Online Business,
Creating Your Own Digital Products
Since I am a very big advocate of digital products, I will teach you how to create your own digital goods to sell. I will focus this discussion on information products because they are the easiest to create, most successful when it comes to sales, and the most profitable commodities in the long run.
Information products include eBooks, special reports and articles. Articles are informative pieces of 400 to 2,000 words in length. Ebooks are longer pieces that usually range from 35 pages up. Special reports are just like eBooks, only shorter.
Information products are named as such because their aim is to provide information. Information is what fuels the processes in the World Wide Web. Basically, people use the internet to find the information they need.
Hence, if you have the information they need, they will seek you out. And if they really need that information, they will be willing to pay for the same.
This, in a nutshell, is how information products will make money for you.
Finding What Information To Offer
You need to find a hungry market, first and foremost. You need to find a market that is constantly looking for particular information which they cannot get anywhere else. And even if there are resources for such information, they are few or otherwise insufficient.
The best way to find a market with high demand is by using the free tools over at www.inventory.overture.com and www.nichebot.com . Simply type in a word pertaining to a subject you have in mind, and these tools will tell you how many searches the said word garnered in the previous month.
The higher the number of searches for the said word, the more the demand is for such information.
The next step is to determine the number of entities in the World Wide Web that is catering to the said information. Simply run a search for the said word over at Google. The number of pages that will appear more or less will tell you the number of competition you will have for such a topic.
The goal is to find a subject that fetches a good number of searches but doesn’t have a multitude of websites catering to the same.
Writing Your Information Product
Once you have determined a good subject that can prove to be profitable, it’s time to create your information product.
Always aim to prepare an eBook because such is the proven seller. People are still attracted by the idea of paying for an eBook rather than paying for a special report or an article. Ebooks just sound more professional.
If you have great research and writing skills, the process will be easy.
If you do not possess these skills, or if you simply do not have the time for the same, consider outsourcing. Outsourcing refers to the hiring of outside services (called freelancers) to help you with some aspects of your business. Ghostwriters abound in the World Wide Web, and a good number of them offer their services at very affordable rates.
Once your eBook is ready, simply convert the same to a .pdf file. This file type is the industry standard because more terminals can access the same. It is readable by both Mac and PC machines.
Alternative (And Easier) Ways To Prepare Your Ebook
You can opt to interview an expert in the field you will tackle. This interview can be transcribed in written form. Just like that and you can have your own information product to sell.
You can also collate a collection of articles from various sources. You do not have rights to these articles. So it is very, very important that you should contact the authors and garner their consent for what you have in mind. Additionally, you should also make it a point to include their resource box in the republished articles.
Coming up with your own information product is easy. Do not let the prospect of the same intimidate you. Anyone can do it.
