Article Writing Tips
Solutions are almost always a great basis for your articles.
Once you have discovered a problem that relates to the topic
that you are planning to write about you can then offer the
solution within the content of your article.
If you can give your reader the solution to a problem and
then explain in detail why your product or service is related
to that solution you will grab their attention immediately.
Don't be shy. Let them know exactly how you can help them.
Explain to them that you can show them how to fix the problem
or avoid having it again in the future.
Once you have done a good job of convincing them that you can
help them, you will be sure to have a great article.
People like examples.
One of the best ways to get a particular point across to your
readers is to give them examples. Let them know how yourself
and others have benefited from the information, product or
service that you are writing about.
Explain in detail what effect it could have on their lives
or businesses if they listen to what you have to say. Be
helpful and informative. Try not to hype up your examples to
much or they can end up sounding like a sales pitch instead
of useful advise.
Remember to reassure your reader.
When you are offering the solution to a problem in your article
be sure to reassure your reader. Let them know that if they
follow your advice they can not only solve the problem but they
can also avoid it ever happening again in the future.
Again use examples to tell them that everything worked out with
the problem for yourself and others by using the same advise
and reassure and that it will for them too.
When the content of your article relates to solving a problem
and you have done your best to explain the benefits of following
your advice then it is time to get your reader to empathize with
you. Help them to understand what it's like to be in your shoes.
Point out what can happen to them and what has happened to
other people who didn't follow advice that you have provided
for them. If you can get them to recognize and understand
exactly how it will feel if they don't choose the right
course of action your article will have a big impact on them.

Blogging Quick Tips
How often you should be posting to your blog.
Although there isn't an exact science when it comes to how
often you should post it is a good idea to post regularly
but not too much.
When you start to build up a readership, you need to post
regularly to keep them coming back. But don't start posting
dozens of times a day, or your blog may be seen as Spam by the
search engines and this could have a serious effect on your
ranking.
After you have been posting for a while you will find your
own formula for posting simply by keeping track of the results
you receive.
Have you pinged your blog today?
It's a good idea to "ping" your blog whenever you add a new
post. "Pinging" is a way of letting the search engines know
that you have added content to your blog.
Pinging is very simple just go to a pinging site such as
feedburner.com or pingomatic.com and fill in the details
of your blog. Then when you add posts to your blog, just go
to their site and click the ping button.
This will get your blog post added to their news feed much
faster than waiting for the search engines to find it.
If you haven't done so already, it's time to submit
your blog to some blog directories like Blogcatalog.com,
Bloglines.com or all-blogs.net. These are only a few there
are many others that you can submit to also. Just do a quick
search for "blog directory" and you will get a complete list.
You can also submit your blog to traditional search engines
such as AltaVista, MSN and traditional directories such as DMOZ.
Directories (particularly DMOZ) will help you increase your
relevance with Google.
It's good to submit to as many blog, RSS directories and search
engines as possible. This is a simple but repetitive process
that can be done by hand or with a submission service or
software.
Another way that you can get more traffic to your blog is
by submitting articles to article directories such as
EzineArticles.com or Goarticles.com. It is the same process
as submitting articles to promote your website. The only
difference is you that you will need to include the address
of your blog in the resource box, so that readers who like
your articles can click through to read your blog.
You can also submit to many more directories by using an
article submission service or software that will submit your
article to several directories at the same time.

Opt-in List Building Tips
Buying advertising space in other ezines that are of a similar
topic (not competitive) to your own can be a great way to get
more subscribers. Although it can be expensive, depending on the
amount of subscribers that the list owner has.
Just keep in mind that the bigger the list the more sign ups
you are likely to get. Make sure you write your ad carefully;
a well-written ad can make a lot of difference to the amount
of sign ups you get.
It's a good idea to join the list you are thinking about
advertising in so that you can get a feel for the type
of content that the publisher provides. This will help you
write a more effective ad.
Pay per click advertising can be a great way to get new
subscribers but first you have to work our whether or not it
will pay for itself. You will also need to have some cash to
use in your advertising budget to get started. With pay per
click you need to be very careful that it does not end up
costing you more money than it makes.
The best advise that I can give you on using pay per click
advertising to get new subscribers is to make sure that you
learn how to effectively use the program. If you take the time
to do this you will be able to build your list very quickly.
This works great if you sell a product or service. After
your customer has paid and been directed to your download
or thank you page, ask them if they would like to opt
in to your list so that you can keep them informed of any
future free upgrades to the product that they have bought.
If you sell a physical product that has to be shipped you
can also include a note that asks them to visit your
site and join your list. Make sure to give them a good
incentive to join and you will get a great response.
Remember they have already purchased from you, so you know
they are interested in what you have to offer.
Another way that you can entice people to join your list is
to design a sign up or squeeze page on your website and offer
a free multi-day course or a series of helpful tips that can
be delivered by auto responder.
Keep the messages relevant to your topic and encourage them
to sign up by letting them know that information is very
useful and beneficial to them. Point out all of the ways that
you can help them if they decide to join your list.
This works great because you will have multiple chances to
present your sales message during the course. It is also
a great way to increase the traffic to your website.
