creating. The paths are not to be found, but made, and the
activity of making them, changes both the maker and the

Adsense Quick Tips
When you are running an Ad Sense campaign, it is important
to make sure that you are testing all of the different
possibilities to make sure that you are getting the highest
click through rate.
For instance you could try placing the ads in different places
on your site and using different color combinations. Then run
one ad format for a week, then run the second format and compare
results. Better yet, test the formats simultaneously and start
getting side by side results to compare.
Just be sure to allow each test the same amount of time to work
to make sure that your results are equal.
Although testing is a necessity, there are certain areas for
your ads that are thought to be more likely to encourage a
greater click through than others.
It is a proven fact that, one place the visitors look first on
the site is the top left position. But there are other places
to consider depending on your site design. For instance, above
the page footer and below the top-level navigation are good.
And near the middle with the main content wrapped around the ad
is thought to be optimum.
Take a look in the help files inside your Google Adsense account
and you will find the latest research plus maps suggesting
the best locations to place your ads.
Although it may seem to be a good idea, do not try to make
your ads stand out from the other content on your page.
Keep in mind that the readers did not come to your site to
click on ads, but to read the content. You should take care
to build your page around a specific topic.
This will ensure that the Adsense ads that are shown on the
page, are relevant and useful to your visitors. If the ads
blend in with the content on your site you will be more likely
to get a better click through rate on them.
Some people think that it is bad to put Adsense on too many
pages. But if you are going for the Adsense revenue then it
is important to give your visitors as much chance to click
through as possible.
Keep in mind that not all of them will arrive at your home page.
Especially if they have found you through the search engines.
If you don't want Adsense on all of your pages you can
concentrate on placing the Adsense ads on high traffic pages to
get the best results.
You can identify the most visited pages on your site by looking
at your site logs or even your Google Analytics account, which
will provide you with page by page details of visitors you
receive.

Internet Marketing Quick Tips
One of the best ways to start marketing and making money
online is by becoming an affiliate.
This means that you can get started earning income without
having your own product, because you will be selling other
peoples products for a share of the profits. If you plan on
selling digital products such as ebooks or other downloadable
things you can get a very good commission of up to 75%,
although around 50% is more common. The commissions are usually
lower for physical goods.
There are many good places to find products that you can promote
and earn a commission. Such as Clickbank for digital products
and Commission Junction for everyday products. These aren't the
only places but they are a great place to get started.
When you have signed up for an affiliate program don't forget
to always use you affiliate link when selling products
otherwise the vendor will not know who to pay and this could
cost you a great deal of money.
Email marketing.
Email marketing is no different than any other type of
marketing, the same type rules apply. Your goal should not be to
make the sale, but to get the prospect to request additional
information.
Did you know that over 90% of emails sent will never be read.
If you want to ensure that your emails are going to get opened
you should make sure your subject line announces your email.
It should do one thing only - get your reader to open
the message and read the first sentence.
Personalizing the subject line with your prospects name is also
a good idea and try not to use to much hype. Once you get them
to open the email be sure to provide them with something of
value and they will take you up on your offer.
If you become a resource to your readers then you will see the
quality and quantity of responses change for the better.
There are many ways to promote affiliate products.
One is by advertising with Google Adwords. You just start
an account with them and calculate how much money you can
afford to spend and they will show your ad to on their network
as many times as you budget will allow.
With Google Adwords as with other paid advertising programs
you do need to read up on the rules before you begin
posting you ads. There are certain thing that you can do that
help you target your audience properly and prevent you from
wasting your money on unwanted clicks on your links.
There are many books on this subject. Just do a quick search
for "Google Adwords" and you will find tons of information on
improving your results.

Web Traffic Tips
One of the easiest ways to build up traffic to your website
is by marketing with articles.
To do this you simply write an article that is on the same
topic as your website or product. Make sure that it contains
useful information that people will want to read. After your
article is complete submit it to article directories with
a link back to your website in the resource box.
After your article is submitted people who are looking for
information on your topic will read it, then visit your website
and publishers that want content for their newsletter or website
will use it then even more people will read it and visit your
website.
Reciprocal linking is a great way to get traffic and better
search engine rankings.
Reciprocal linking is where you find another site that has
been built around a similar topic as yours and you contact
the site owner or webmaster and ask them if they would like
to put a link to your site in exchange for a link to theirs.
There are also link exchange services and directories that will
help you find similar websites that are willing to exchange
links with you. Just do a search for "link exchange" and you
will find several.
Not only can this help your ranking in the search engines it
will also give your site more exposure from people that visit
the other website that you are linked to.
One way links.
They are even better than reciprocal linking because you
don't have to give a link back to the other site. The easiest
way to find sites to link to yours is to do a search and type
in "your topic", "add URL" or "add your site" and then you
should get some sites that you can add your link to.
For example if your site is on dogs then your search would look
something like this; dogs + "add URL"
Check to make sure that the site has a fair amount of traffic
coming in and that it has good page rank. You don't want to
submit your site to what is considered a link farm because it
won't yeild a good response.
Getting traffic to small sales page sites.
If you are trying to drive traffic to a simple 1 or 2 page
sales site then chances are you may not get much traffic
from the search engines because of the lack of content.
One way around this is to build a content site by using
articles on the same topic as the product you are selling.
You can get the articles from directories or write some of
your own that will help get traffic from the search engines
and then link to your sales site from the content site.
This will help you get traffic from the search engines and
redirect it to your sales page.
